Active in AI research, operations research, and executive strategy since 2009, Mario translates advanced analytics and simulation into frameworks that help organizations act decisively under uncertainty: the discipline we call decision intelligence.
It From Bit started in 2019.
The name is a reference to physicist John A. Wheeler's 1989 principle, it from bit: the idea that physical reality emerges from information. Applied to business: the outcomes that matter (it) emerge from the models, calculations, and decisions we make (bit). That is what this firm does.
He has completed executive education at Harvard Business School Online and INSEAD. His peer-reviewed work appears in the Croatian Operational Research Review and at MIPRO, with co-authored research involving Babson College and the Fortenova Group.
Under his leadership, It From Bit helps institutions, enterprises, and investors build composable, trustworthy AI systems that simplify complexity, align strategy with execution, and turn strategy into defensible advantage.
